GRANTS FOR your Colorado video project
Colorado Film and Video Association is giving back to passionate and dedicated Colorado filmmakers by awarding a variety of grants each year.
We’re looking for inspired community members with thoughtful visions.
$5000 LATINX Grant
The CFVA and Denver Film are teaming up to provide a $5K cash grant to one Colorado-based Latinx-identifying filmmaker with a film currently in development or production.

$5000
Four runners-up will be selected to receive a one-year membership or membership renewal to the CFVA.

Requirements
• Must be a high-level role on the project such as producer or director
• Must be 18+ years old
Submission Materials
• One-page treatment or pitch deck PDF, trailer or other links (optional)
CFVA GRANTS Eligibility
All filmmakers must be at least 18 years of age by the contest deadline.
Filmmaker must be a legal resident of the state of Colorado.
Filmmaker must be director, producer, screenwriter, or other above-the-line stakeholder in production.
CFVA board members, their immediate family, spouses, children, domestic partners, and significant others are ineligible.
Projects submitted to other competitions or contests are eligible.
Filmmakers who have earned significant income from their project prior to or during the contest timeline may be disqualified.
Adaptations are ineligible unless the underlying rights are owned by the filmmaker or the work is in the public domain.
