Submitting News, Jobs, Classes, and Calendar Items

Review the guidelines for submissions to the CFVA eBulletin BEFORE submitting.

If you are submitting a paid class or seminar announcement, indicate prominently in the submission the CFVA-member discount being offered. New in 2009, the CFVA eBulletin publishes full class or seminar descriptions in the eBulletin only if a discount is available to the CFVA membership, or when a classified eBulletin ad has been purchased from CFVA. Otherwise we publish the title, date, cost, and link to a webpage you supply that describes the class or seminar. The link must relate to your specific class submission, not to a home page. If no link is supplied, the submission will be rejected.

If you are submitting a calendar event, it must include the date of the event, the time, location, and cost in the text of your submission or it will not be published.

You must submit information about your upcoming event at least two weeks prior to the date of the event.

NOTE: If you are submitting a Job Listing, it will only be seen by CFVA members in the electronic news section of the website and in the emailed CFVA eBulletin. Guest viewers or eBulletin subscribers who are not CFVA members will not see the posting.

To submit an article to the eBulletin please type or paste the article in the form provided below, along with your contact information in the appropriate boxes. Contact information will not be visible to the public; it is for the editor to contact you for further details. When all required fields have been completed, click the Preview button.

You'll be shown the article as it will be sent to the editor, in a format that will work on the internet and with all formatting removed. This may not be what you had in mind. Please look over the changed copy carefully and remove any unusual characters that have appeared and correct any other oddities that are part of the “translation” process.

You can Preview again (recommended after any edit), or you can choose to Submit your article. You are responsible for what the item looks like in plain text.
