The FAMCO Leadership Summit was spurred from the first Town Hall. The community brought their ideas to the table, and we needed to gather the folks in our state who could actually bring those ideas to fruition.
October 3 and 4, a group of 37 leaders from across our state came together for a two-day workshop where the CFVA presented all the ideas that came out of the first Town Hall, and the leaders from the state, cities, private companies, independent filmmakers and industry non-profits worked together to create a set of initiatives that we would be able to prioritize for the biggest impact.
As part of our next phase, the CFVA will lead the community in regular discussions on how to move the initiatives and projects outlined by the community forward.
