The Colorado Film and Video Association (CFVA) hosts its annual State of the State event to inform, engage, and connect Colorado’s film and video community. This signature gathering brings together industry professionals from across the state to examine the current landscape and future outlook of Colorado’s film and media sector. The program features industry updates, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that foster collaboration and celebrate the community’s collective achievements.
In 2026 we hosted nearly 200 attendees at the iconic Sie Film Center. We heard from community leaders from throughout the state including our partners at Denver Film, The Colorado Office of Film Television and Media, Sundance Film Festival, The Colorado Film Festival Coalition, SAG-AFTRA, IATSE, WIFMCO, MMAC, CineFe, SMPTE, AVX and more!
